How people get recommendations about your church

Check out this post by Beta Church in which they quote an article from Fast Company about how people use the web to get opinions on products and services they're considering for purchase. No doubt people are going to the web for opinions on churches too. Large churches particularly need to be aware of what is being said about them online so they can become part of the conversation.

I guess one of the questions would be "where would we find this information?". In most cases, you only have the church website itself to draw conclusions from (trust me, I'm not trivializing that because that's what I dedicate my site to), but I really haven't come across anything like a church review site, and I'm not sure that would be a positive thing to have...

The reviews are appearing in individual blog posts all over the web. From time to time a blogger visits the church and writes about their experiences. I want to make sure I see anything people are saying about us so I have standing Technorati and Feedster searches set up for keywords related to Church of the Resurrection.
